Restrictions have been imposed on vehicular movement inside the Dhaka Cantonment on 21 November, marking the Armed Forces Day, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a release on Sunday afternoon.

To keep the roads of Dhaka Cantonment (main road from Shaheed Jahangir Gate to the Staff Road) free of traffic congestion, all types of vehicles, except those carrying guests and residents of the area, are requested to avoid plying through the cantonment between 7:00am and 11:00am, and from 12:00pm at noon to 7:00pm on the day, the release added.

It said the Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships open for public visits in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, and Chandpur from 2:00pm until sunset on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, 21 November (Friday).

The ISPR press release said the locations where the ships will be available are: Sadarghat in Dhaka; Naval Berth/BN RRB in Chattogram; Khulna Naval Berth/Rocket Ghat and Digraj Naval Berth/Mongla Port; and BIWTA Ghat in Barishal and Chandpur.
