Five more people died from dengue in the 24 hours till Sunday morning, raising the year’s total death toll to 336, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24-hour span, 1,139 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total caseload to 84,997 in 2025.

Of the latest cases, 181 were admitted to hospitals in Barishal division, 141 in Chattogram division, 246 in Dhaka division, 182 under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 118 under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 119 in Khulna division, 96 in Mymensingh division, 46 in Rajshahi division and nine in Sylhet division.

The divisional data exclude deaths at hospitals located inside city corporation areas.
