Army Ordnance Corps holds 45th annual Commanders’ Conference in Gazipur

The 45th Annual Commanders’ Conference of the Bangladesh Army Ordnance Corps was held on Sunday at the Ordnance Centre and School (OC&S) in Rajendrapur Cantonment, Gazipur.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman attended the conference as the chief guest. Upon his arrival at OC&S, he was received by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC); the GOC and Area Commander of Logistics Area; the Commandant of Bangladesh Ordnance Factory (BOF); and the Commandant of OC&S.

In his address to the commanders of the Army Ordnance Corps, the army chief highlighted the Corps’ proud heritage and its significant contributions in service to the nation, said a press release.

He urged all members of the Corps to remain prepared to meet the complex challenges of the 21st century by enhancing their capabilities through dedication, discipline and professional, modern, and up-to-date training.

During an exchange of views with the officers of the Army Ordnance Corps, the army chief discussed the Corps’ technological advancement, research, professional skill development, and future plans.

The event was attended by senior officers from Army Headquarters, including the GOC of ARTDOC, the GOC and area commander of Logistics Area, the commandant of BOF, the adjutant general (AG), the commandant of OC&S, commanders of all Army Ordnance Corps units, and members of the media.
