Chinese ambassador meets Rizvi

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on BNP acting Secretary General and Prime Minister’s Political Adviser Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at the BNP chairman’s office in Gulshan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Yao Wen greeted Rizvi with flowers and held cordial discussions on various issues, including political relations between Bangladesh and China and the two countries’ ongoing friendly ties, according to the BNP Media Cell.
They expressed hope that ongoing development projects and cooperation between Bangladesh and China would gain further momentum.
Liu Yuyin, deputy chief of mission at the Chinese Embassy, and political attaché Ling Xuan were also present. Rizvi’s private secretary Kazi Nazrul Islam and assistant private secretary Zahedul Alam also attended the meeting.
