Turkish ambassador eyes deep partnership during meeting with Shama Obaed

Turkish Ambassador Ramis Şen on Monday reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to further deepening the longstanding friendship and partnership between the two countries.
The ambassador also congratulated Shama Obaed Islam for her appointment as the state minister for the foreign ministry while paying a courtesy call on her at the ministry.
Welcoming the ambassador, the state minister underscored the bilateral relations between the two countries rooted in shared values, cultural affinity, and civilizational bonds, said a press release.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the momentum in bilateral trade, emphasising the shared objective of increasing the volume and focused on strengthening cooperations. 

Highlighting the Turkish culture's popularity in Bangladesh, the state minister welcomed the growing cultural and educational engagement between the two countries.
Shama Obaed expressed readiness to facilitate greater Turkish investment, highlighting the growing defence cooperation and underscoring the importance of continued collaboration.
