Army Ordnance Corps holds 45th Annual Commanders’ Conference

The 45th Annual Commanders’ Conference of the Army Ordnance Corps was held on Sunday at the Ordnance Centre and School (OC&S) in Rajendrapur Cantonment, Gazipur.
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman attended the event as the chief guest, reads an Inter-Services Public Relations press release.
When the Army Chief arrived at OC&S, he was received by the GOC of Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC); the GOC and Area Commander of Logistics Area; the Commandant of Bangladesh Ordnance Factory (BOF) and the Commandant of OC&S.
In his speech to the commanders of the Army Ordnance Corps, the Army chief highlighted the proud history of the corps and its contribution to the nation.
He called on all members of the corps to remain prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century by gaining capacity through modern and timely training with dedication and professionalism.
During a discussion session with officers of the corps, the Army chief also spoke about technical advancement, research, professional development and future plans of the corps.
Senior officers from Army Headquarters, the GOC of ARTDOC, the GOC and Area Commander of Logistics Area, the Commandant of BOF, the Adjutant General, the Commandant of OC&S and commanders of all units of the Army Ordnance Corps were present at the event.
