The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) transferred six officers holding the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) to new postings within the force.

The transfer order, signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali on Thursday, was disclosed by the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Wing on Saturday.

According to the order, Md Akhiul Islam of DMP’s Uttara Division has been reassigned to the Wari Division, while Md Mostafizur Rahman of the Intelligence & Analysis Division (Internal Oversight & Admin) has been posted to the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit.

Potitran Talukder of Traffic-Motijheel Division has been moved to Traffic-Mirpur Division.

Additionally, Md Bokul Hossain of the Cyber Crime Investigation Division has been transferred to the Intelligence & Analysis Division. Imranul Islam of Traffic-Mirpur Division has been posted to Traffic-Motijheel Division and Sharmin Akter Chumki of Traffic-Admin has been transferred to the POM-West Division.
