Pakistan vows to eradicate terrorism from region: Minister

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday said a recent development would empower the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to fight terrorism and work towards eradicating it.

“We will achieve peace and eradicate terrorism not only from the face of Pakistan but also from the entire region,” he said while addressing the International Conference on Pakistan’s Evolving Counter-Terrorism Landscape, organised by the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad.

Tarar said the people of the region deserved prosperity, welfare and security.
