Abhishek smashes fastest Indian T20I ton

Indian opener Abhishek Sharma created history by smashing the fastest T20 International century by a batter from an ICC Full Member nation. He reached his hundred in just 30 balls against Afghanistan, breaking Rohit Sharma’s previous Indian record of a 35-ball century set against Sri Lanka in 2017.
Abhishek also raced to his half-century in only 16 deliveries, setting the tone for a remarkable innings. His explosive knock featured a barrage of boundaries and sixes as he dominated the Afghan bowlers from the start.
The century is the fastest ever by an Indian in T20I and one of the quickest in the history of the format
