USTC opens admission fair for January 2027 session

The University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) has opened admission fair for students seeking admission to its honours and master’s programmes for the January 2027 session.

The university Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Mohammad Solaiman inaugurated the admission fair on Monday on the university’s D Block campus.

The fair will continue from 5 October to 19 October. During the fair, special discounts on admission fees will be offered to students interested in enrolling in the honours and master’s programmes through spot admission.

The university Registrar Dilip Kumar Barua, Admission Affairs Director Dr Anindya Kumar Nath, deans and heads of different faculties and departments, teachers and officials were present at the inaugural event.

Addressing the programme, Vice Chancellor Prof Solaiman said the university is equipped with modern facilities and has permanent certification from the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

He said UGC-approved honours and master’s programmes at USTC are being conducted by renowned faculty members from home and abroad, providing students with education relevant to the contemporary world.

Such education will help students pursue higher studies and build successful careers, he added.
