From the moment we wake up each day until we go to bed again, we carry out various activities. Every one of these activities is necessary and important for us. For example, we leave home each day for work and other purposes, and then return home. We eat and drink, use the bathroom, go to the mosque for prayers, visit the market and buy essential goods. After the fatigue of the day, we eventually go to sleep again.
All these activities are important for a healthy way of life. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught us supplications to seek Allah’s mercy at the beginning of every activity and blessings at its end. This is because nothing a human being does is perfect or infallible. Therefore, he taught people to rely on Allah for the good and bad outcomes of whatever they do.
