ABG University Cup 2026 kicks off campus campaign

The campus promotional campaign for Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) University Cup 2026 began at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), on Tuesday, aiming to build excitement for the tournament among university students.

The campaign kicked off at IUB at noon before moving to United International University (UIU) at 4pm for its second leg.

More than 100 players and students took part in activities organised at the two universities, with fun sporting challenges encouraging direct participation. IUB hosted a ‘Hit the Stump’ contest, while UIU staged a ‘Crossbar Challenge’. The winners of both competitions received Tk5,000 each, taking the total prize money to Tk10,000.

Students also expressed their enthusiasm for ABG University Cup 2026 and voiced hopes for a broader range of inter-university sporting competitions in the future.

Following the successful events at IUB and UIU, the campaign will gradually reach other universities participating in the tournament.
