Taskin registers for inaugural Afghanistan Premier League

Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed has officially registered for the inaugural edition of the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) T20 tournament.

The league confirmed Taskin’s registration through its official Instagram account, with the player registration process for the first season already completed.

According to the organisers, more than 1,000 cricketers have signed up for the tournament, including over 500 overseas players.

The APL player draft is scheduled to take place on 27 September, when Taskin’s participation in the competition is expected to become clearer.

Announcing the Bangladeshi fast bowler’s registration on social media, the organisers also invited fans to share their views on which franchise they would like to see him represent.

“The wait is over. Taskin Ahmed has officially registered for the Afghanistan Premier League. Which team would you like to see him play for?” the post read.
