Bangladesh HP cruise to nine-wicket win over Nepal A

Bangladesh High Performance (HP) cruised to a nine-wicket victory over Nepal A in the Top End T20 series in Darwin on Saturday.

Chasing a modest target of 100, Bangladesh reached the mark in just 10.2 overs, losing only one wicket. Jishan Alam led the chase with an unbeaten 52 off 29 balls, while Ariful Islam remained not out on 34 off 27 deliveries.

Earlier, Bangladesh restricted Nepal A to 99-9 after the latter opted to bat first at Marrara Stadium. Md Rubel was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers, claiming four wickets, while Kushal Bhurtel top-scored for Nepal with 46 off 40 balls.

Bangladesh HP will next face Hobart Hurricanes Academy on 23 August at 1:30pm, and Cricket Victoria on 24 August. They will then take on Adelaide Strikers Academy on 25 August and New Zealand A on 27 August.
