With distinction, Nasiruddin Faruque, batting coach of Bangladesh women’s team, passed the International Cricket Council (ICC) level 3 coaching course.
Daily Sun has learnt on Friday that Nasiruddin secured 91% mark.
"It was a long process to give exams like written assignments along with presentations in front of all master educators as well as field assignments," said Nasiruddin.
"It was a great learning experience and helped me enhance knowledge for advanced coaching manuals. The subject I chose was very interesting - team environment and vision of Bangladesh women's cricket," he noted.
"Whereas others were concerned about men's player development, for me women's cricket development was the concern," he added.
"It was a very challenging topic that I chose," he concluded.
ICC conducted the level 3 coaching course from 27 April to 4 May last year in Bhutan featuring participants from 14 countries that include the likes of Sanath Jayasuriya and Mohammad Hafeez, among others.
