Bangladesh Police FC made one of the notable additions in the ongoing recruitment drive, with club sources confirming the signing of young Senegalese forward Mohamed Rassoul Ba on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old, who has scored once in six appearances for the Senegal national team, was also a target for Police FC during last season's mid-season transfer window, but the move failed to materialise at the time.

Rassoul later moved from Bhutanese club Paro FC to Al Rawdah FC.

Now, the Lions of Teranga forward is set to join Bangladesh Police FC as a free agent.

Bangladesh clubs are stepping up preparations for the 2026-27 Bangladesh Football League (BFL) season, with several teams making late moves to strengthen their squads by signing foreign recruits.

The centre-forward enjoyed a productive spell with Paro FC, scoring 14 goals during the season as the club went on to win the Bhutan Premier League title.
