The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Friday named all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin as the replacement for injured Mustafizur Rahman in the squad for the third and final One Day International against Zimbabwe in Harare.

Mustafizur has been ruled out of the remainder of the tour after suffering a right hamstring strain during the opening ODI and will return to Bangladesh to continue his rehabilitation.

The BCB also confirmed that fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has been added to the T20 International squad in place of Mustafizur ahead of the three-match series against Zimbabwe.

Mustafizur underwent a scan after the injury, which revealed a grade-one tear in his right hamstring.

Bangladesh team physio Bayjedul Islam said that the left-arm pacer is expected to require around four weeks to recover, putting his participation in The Hundred in doubt.

Bangladesh, already trailing 2-0 in the ODI series, will face Zimbabwe in the final one-day international on Saturday before the teams shift their focus to the three-match T20I series.
