Bangladesh pace sensation Nahid Rana made his debut for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 clash against Hyderabad Kingsmen on Wednesday.

Rana will share the bowling department with fellow Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam, marking his first appearance of the season after being picked in the league earlier.

The right-arm quick had previously been part of PSL squads but returned home without game time.

In contrast, Bangladesh opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim was once again left out of Zalmi’s playing XI.

Zalmi had played two matches before this fixture, with only Shoriful featuring in the opening game, where he bowled four overs for 31 runs. The second match was washed out.

Rana, who was signed for PKR60 lakh, became the fifth Bangladeshi to feature in the ongoing PSL season, after Mustafizur Rahman, Parvez Hossain Emon, Shoriful, and Rishad Hossain.

Peshawar won the toss and opted to bowl first against Hyderabad.
