Mustafizur Rahman stands on the cusp of history, with just one wicket separating him from becoming the outright highest T20 wicket-taking left-arm seamer.
The Bangladesh pacer has already etched his name alongside Pakistan duo Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz, with all three currently locked on 413 wickets.
But the numbers reveal a deeper story — Mustafizur has reached the mark in just 323 matches, significantly faster than Amir (354) and Wahab (348).
The 30-year-old will feature in his second match of the season for Lahore Qalandars on Sunday against Karachi Kings.
One more breakthrough will not only take him past his rivals but also crown him as the fastest left-arm seamer to reach the landmark in T20 history.
Known for his deceptive cutters, Bangladesh's left-arm has long been a specialist of the shortest format, thriving in pressure moments across leagues worldwide.
