Bangladesh cricket stars Mushfiqur Rahim and Taskin Ahmed were unveiled as brand ambassadors of Pakistan’s popular fashion house J. Dot on Saturday, with signature perfumes launched in their names. Perfumes titled MR15 Bold, MR15, Strike, and Strike Pride were introduced as part of the collaboration, celebrating the two national icons.
The unveiling took place at the opening of J. Dot’s third outlet in Bangladesh at Uttara Centre Point Shopping Mall, adding glamour to the high-profile event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Bangladesh pacer delivered a heartfelt message to Mushfiq, highlighting the senior cricketer’s influence on and off the field.
“I have been lucky to play with a legend like Mushfiq bhai for almost 12 years,” Taskin said. “On the field, he is ice-cool. But off the field, he is the biggest fire in the Bangladesh team.”

The right-arm pacer described the veteran as extremely disciplined and uncompromising when it comes to standards, crediting him for shaping younger players.
“As the most senior player, he guided us for years. When he scolded us, it didn’t always feel good at that moment, but later we realised it was always for our benefit,” he added.

Mushfiq, in turn, praised Taskin’s growth and dedication, placing him among the finest fast bowlers Bangladesh has produced.
“He (Taskin) is rare,” Mushfiq said. “The way Taskin has transformed himself, his effort, and his desire to raise his dedication to a new level make him special.”
The former national skipper also highlighted Taskin’s impact beyond performance. “He is a hero on and off the field. When Taskin is around, the team environment changes completely. He brings energy, celebration, and fun to the group.”
