With every arrow carrying the weight of expectation, Bangladesh’s top archers showcased precision and composure, as key names from the Air Force, BKSP and the Bangladesh Archery Federation secured their places in the gold and bronze medal matches.

The focus now shifts to Friday’s team eliminations, setting the stage for Saturday’s high-stakes finals that will ultimately decide the nation’s champions.

In the recurve men’s individual category, Bangladesh Air Force’s Ram Krishna Saha and Rakib Mia emerged victorious in their respective matches to book their places in the gold medal final. Another Air Force archer, Abdur Rahman Alif, will contest the bronze medal match.

The recurve women’s section saw BKSP’s Sonali Roy and Sayma Salah Uddin advance to the gold medal match, while their teammate Taiyeba Akhter secured a spot in the bronze medal contest.

The compound men’s event will witness BKSP’s Aishwarya Rahman and Nawaz Ahmed Rakib, representing the Bangladesh Archery Federation, facing each other in the final. The bronze medal match will feature Air Force archers Md. Tarikul Islam Tawhid and Himu Bachhar.

In the compound women’s category, Air Force’s Bonna Akter and BKSP’s Kulsum Akter Moni advanced to the gold medal match after strong performances in the eliminations. The bronze medal match will see Bangladesh Army’s Tania Rima take on BKSP’s Shriparna Biswas.
