Following the men's futsal side, Bangladesh women also continued their dominance as they hammered Sri Lanka 6-3 in the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship 2026 in Bangkok on Wednesday. Skipper Sabina Khatun and forward Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar struck twice each as Bangladesh staged an impressive comeback at the Nonthaburi Stadium.

After the timeout, the Bangladesh women looked more balanced, and Sumaya Matsushima struck again in the 29th minute.
