The Federation Cup schedule has been reshuffled after the Bashundhara Kings–Mohammedan Sporting Club match was postponed, causing all Cumilla venue matches to be rescheduled.
The Kings–Mohammedan clash was originally set for 16 December at Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium, Cumilla, but was postponed due to Victory Day events. The match was moved to the National Stadium in Dhaka for 19 December, later rescheduled to 23 December after Mohammedan opposed playing behind closed doors and requested a new date.
This change affected other Cumilla fixtures.
The Abahani Limited vs Rahmatganj MFS match, originally on 23 December, was pushed to 30 December. Similarly, the Bashundhara Kings vs Arambagh Krira Chakra game, scheduled for 30 December in Cumilla, will be relocated.
BFF League Committee Deputy Chairman Zakir Hossain Chowdhury confirmed, “The Brothers Union vs PWD match on 23 December at Bashundhara Kings Arena remains unchanged. The Cumilla fixture for that day will shift to the following Tuesday, while Kings–Mohammedan stays on 23 December.”
He added that after 30 December, Federation Cup matches will pause until 10 February due to the transfer window, during which no matches will be played, and all remaining Cumilla fixtures will be adjusted accordingly.
