The sixth round of the 27th National Cricket League (Four Day) 2025–26 concluded on Tuesday with Sylhet and Mymensingh securing emphatic victories, while the Dhaka–Khulna contest fizzled out in a draw. With just one round remaining, the points table tightened further as Sylhet retained their position at the top, closely followed by Mymensingh and Rangpur.
At the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet Division wrapped up a dominant 10-wicket win over Rajshahi. Starting the day on 146/3, Rajshahi were eventually dismissed for 336, thanks largely to Nabil Samad’s four-wicket haul. Set a modest target of 38, Sylhet cruised home in just 9.2 overs without losing a wicket. The victory capped a clinical all-round performance highlighted by their mammoth first-innings score of 535/8 declared, built on a massive 342-run stand between Amite Hasan (213) and Asadullah Al Galib (180).
At the Sylhet Academy Ground, Mymensingh completed a 63-run win over Barishal. Defending 380, Mymensingh maintained pressure from the outset. Barishal resumed on 108/4 and were buoyed by a superb 102 off 149 balls from Sohag Gazi, but the chase eventually faltered at 316. Asadullah Hill Galib and Abu Hider Rony shared six wickets between them, ensuring Mymensingh made full use of their strong 138-run first-innings advantage.
Meanwhile, at the Khulna Divisional Stadium, the match between Khulna and Dhaka ended in a stalemate. Khulna, resuming on 149/5, were bowled out for 280 in 102.4 overs, with Imranuzzaman’s marathon 66 off 311 balls anchoring the innings and Soumya Sarkar adding a brisk 55. Chasing 165 for victory, Dhaka reached 123/6 in 30 overs before stumps were drawn, leaving the result unresolved.
With the league entering its final stage, Sylhet lead the standings, with Mymensingh and Rangpur still firmly in the race.
