Bangladesh-based talent technology company Hipo has launched an AI-powered platform that conducts real-time job interviews, aiming to make candidate screening faster and more accessible.
The platform allows jobseekers to take conversational interviews through mobile applications, while employers can use the results to assess role-related knowledge, communication and problem-solving skills during the initial screening stage.
More than 14,000 candidates have already taken interviews through Hipo AI, while three organisations have joined the platform, the company said at its launch on Sunday.
“We founded Hipo from a simple idea of democratising the hiring process,” said Md Ziaul Pervez Chowdhury, co-founder and CEO of Hipo. He said the platform focuses on Bangla-language conversations to help reduce barriers faced by jobseekers during interviews.
The company said its system is designed to give candidates personalised, interactive interviews while maintaining a consistent assessment process for recruiters.
Jobseekers can create accounts, explore vacancies and take AI-led interviews, while recruiters can post jobs and begin candidate screening through the platform.
