Popular small-screen actor Farrukh Ahmed Rehan is all set to make his big-screen debut with the horror film “Andhar”, which is scheduled to hit cinemas in December. The film’s promotional campaign is expected to begin soon, with the official trailer set to be released on YouTube.

As this marks Rehan’s first feature film, the actor is both excited and optimistic about the project. He will portray the character of Himel in the film, which has been directed by Raihan Rafi.

Talking about his debut, Rehan said he has always been fascinated by horror stories and never imagined that his first film would be a major horror production.

“Those who know me are aware of how much I love horror stories. But I never imagined that I would get the opportunity to work in such a big horror movie. I have just started my journey in acting, and I never thought I would get the opportunity to work with Rafi Bhai in my first movie,” Rehan said.

Expressing his gratitude to the filmmakers, he added, “I will always be grateful to the makers for trusting me. I really liked their vision for ‘Andhar’ and hope the audience will like it too. I will play Himel in the movie. This is my big-screen debut, so please keep me in your prayers.”

Although Rehan’s acting career began only recently, he has already earned praise for his performances in several dramas with compelling stories.

Now, his fans will get to see him on the big screen alongside an ensemble cast that includes Afsana Mimi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, Nazifa Tushi and Gazi Rakayet, among others.

“Andhar” is based on a story by Sumon, Shakib Chowdhury and Adnan.
