Afran Nisho, Tama Mirza again!

Actors Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza, who previously shared the screen in “Surongo” and “Daagi”, have once again sparked excitement among fans amid reports that they are reuniting for a new film.
According to multiple sources, the duo has been cast in an untitled project slated to begin production ahead of Durga Puja. The film is reportedly set to be directed by Vicky Zahed and would mark his debut as a feature film director.
However, Vicky Zahed has dismissed the reports. Speaking to a local media outlet, he said, “There is no truth to such news.”
Despite the director’s denial, several reliable sources associated with the production claim that Afran Nisho and Tama Mirza are scheduled to begin shooting for the project later this month. A script-reading session with the lead actors is reportedly expected to take place within the next few days, after which filming will commence in Dhaka.
Although no official announcement has been made, sources suggest that pre-production work has already advanced significantly. Industry insiders now await formal confirmation from the production team.
If the project materialises, it will mark the third on-screen collaboration between Nisho and Tama Mirza after the commercially successful “Surongo” and “Daagi”. Like the pair’s previous two films, the new project is also expected to be produced by Alpha-i.
