After months of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is reuniting with Real Energy Productions for a brand-new film. The actor, who delivered the blockbuster “Borbaad” with the production house in 2025, is set to collaborate once again with the same team.

Director Mehedi Hassan Hridoy also confirmed the development, revealing that Shakib Khan officially signed the contract for the new project on Thursday afternoon.
“A little while ago, Shakib bhai signed a contract with us for a new film. The title and the rest of the cast have not been finalised yet," Hridoy said.
He clarified that the upcoming film is not a sequel to any of his previous works. “This is a completely new story. It is an action thriller with no political backdrop. I can only say that the audience will experience something entirely new," the director added.
