Daily Sun journalist Rajib Kanti Roy’s father passes away

Pijush Kanti Roy, father of Daily Sun Senior Staff Correspondent Rajib Kanti Roy, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 74.
He breathed his last at 11:07am while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of Bangladesh-Kuwait Friendship Hospital in the capital’s Uttara.
He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter. Rajib Kanti Roy has sought prayers from all for the departed soul of his father.
His death has cast a pall of grief over family members, relatives and well-wishers.
Born on 30 April 1952, Pijush Kanti Roy was a retired upazila health inspector.
