Triplet sisters Swapnil Barman, Swarnali Barman and Senjuti Barman from Salandar village in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila have drawn widespread attention after appearing together in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year.

Born on 15 September 2009 to Thandaram Barman and Moyna Rani Sen, the trio are appearing in the SSC exams from the science section.  The sisters studied at Araji Krishnapur Government Primary School before being admitted to Government Girls’ High School in Thakurgaon town.

Teachers said their identical appearance often made it difficult to distinguish them in school uniforms, requiring separate identification methods despite their strong academic performance.

Although studying in the science group, their career aspirations differ. Swapnil Barman aims to become a BCS cadre, Swarnali Barman aspires to be a doctor, and Senjuti Barman hopes to become a teacher.

Apart from academics, the trio are also involved in cultural activities as registered child artists of Bangladesh Betar, Thakurgaon Centre, and enjoy singing patriotic songs and reading science fiction.

Their mother said raising three daughters together brought both joy and challenges, while their father, a musician by profession, expressed pride in their growth and educational progress.

The sisters are currently focused on completing their SSC examinations with good results and fulfilling their future aspirations.
