BNP standing committee meeting underway

The meeting of the BNP’s highest policymaking body, the National Standing Committee, is underway in the capital's Gulshan.

The meeting began at 7pm on Friday at the BNP chairman’s office, with Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman in the chair, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

BNP acting secretary general and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Standing Committee members Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Salahuddin Ahmed, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Begum Selima Rahman and Amanullah Aman, Prime Minister’s Public Administration Adviser Ismail Zabiullah, and BNP Chairman’s Adviser Dr Farhad Halim Donar were attending the meeting.
