Asif Mahmud, Nasiruddin Patwary change voter areas

National Citizen Party (NCP) Spokesperson Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has changed his voter area to Aftabnagar under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), from an area under Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).

Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain disclosed the information in a post on his verified Facebook account on Monday afternoon.

He said he applied to change his voter area using Form-13 prescribed by the Election Commission. Following the application, the Election Commission approved it after necessary verification and scrutiny of official documents. As a result, Asif Mahmud’s voter registration is now under Dhaka North City Corporation.

He had previously transferred his voter registration to the capital from his ancestral district in Cumilla.

Meanwhile, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary has also changed his voter area. He has moved from Uttara under Dhaka North City Corporation to the Dhaka-8 constituency under Dhaka South City Corporation.
