Mirza Abbas visits graves of Ziaur Rahman, Khaleda Zia

BNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Mirza Abbas on Thursday visited the graves of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

After the parliamentary session, he visited the graves. He got out of his car and went to the mausoleum in a wheelchair.

Party leaders, activists and supporters were present with him.

Mirza Abbas paid his respects by placing floral wreaths at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia. Later, he stood in silence for a while, recited Fateha and offered prayers seeking forgiveness for their souls.

Earlier, after completing his medical treatment, Mirza Abbas returned to the country from Malaysia on Wednesday after five months.
