Following his victory in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, Junaid Saki has expressed gratitude to voters and called for national unity.
In a statement issued on Friday (13 February), Saki thanked the residents of Banchharampur for electing him as the joint candidate of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and the Ganosamhati Andolan in the Brahmanbaria-6 constituency.
He said their participation in the election was driven by the goal of ensuring justice, reforms, and credible elections, following a prolonged anti-authoritarian movement, joint political struggle, and mass uprising.
Saki also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of leaders and activists from both the BNP and Ganosamhati Andolan at the central, district, and upazila levels during the election campaign.
Concluding his statement, he emphasised that building a united Bangladesh based on national unity would be their primary political objective.
He expressed hope that anti-authoritarian political forces would remain united in the future and sought continued support and cooperation from the people.
