Tasnim Jara’s nomination declared valid after appeal

The Election Commission (EC) has declared the nomination of Tasnim Jara valid as an independent candidate in the 13th National Parliamentary Election. 

She had filed an appeal with the Election Commission last Monday against the cancellation of her nomination paper.

Tasnim Jara is contesting the election as an independent candidate from the Dhaka-9 constituency. 

Her nomination was declared valid during the appeal hearing held on Saturday, which began earlier in the day.
