BNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister’s Political Adviser Mirza Abbas has been acquitted in 15 corruption cases filed in 2007.
Judge Muhammad Kamrul Hasan Khan of Dhaka Special
Judge Court-3 pronounced the verdict on Thursday.
According to court sources, the cases were filed
over the alleged sale of 18 government houses without following the tender
process, involving corruption amounting to Tk127. 64 crores.
