Bangladesh condemns Houthi attack on Madinah power infrastructure

The Government of Bangladesh has strongly condemned the Houthi drone attack on the Taibah electricity station in the holy city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the deliberate targeting of vital civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet’s Mosque was an unacceptable assault on the sanctity of Islam’s holiest sites.

Bangladesh expressed full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in defending its security and sovereignty.

“Bangladesh firmly rejects any act of aggression that harms regional peace and stability,” the ministry said.
