Huawei opens first display zone at Bashundhara City, announces special offers

Huawei Bangladesh has opened its first display zone at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in the capital to provide customers with a premium retail and hands-on technology experience.

The display zone was officially inaugurated on Wednesday at Basement-1 of the shopping mall.

According to Huawei Bangladesh, the initiative aims to bring the brand closer to consumers and allow them to experience its latest technology products directly. The launch is part of Huawei’s “Now Is Your Spark” campaign, under which the company recently introduced several new-generation devices in Bangladesh.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Captain (Retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Bashundhara City Development Limited (BCDL); Eric Pang, Country Head of Huawei Bangladesh Device Business; and Dewan Kanon, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DX Group.

Speaking at the event, Captain (Retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza said Huawei is one of the world's leading technology innovators and that the new display zone would strengthen the technology-focused retail experience at Bashundhara City.

He expressed hope that the partnership between Huawei and Bashundhara City would be successful and beneficial for consumers.

Eric Pang described the opening of the display zone as an important milestone for Huawei in Bangladesh, saying it would help bring the company’s latest innovations and ecosystem experience closer to customers.

Dewan Kanon said the new display zone would provide consumers with an opportunity to directly experience Huawei’s latest technologies.

The display zone showcases Huawei’s newest flagship smartphones, foldable devices, tablets, smart wearables, and audio products. Featured devices include the Huawei Mate 80 Pro, Huawei Mate X7, Huawei MatePad 11.5, Huawei nova 15 Max, Huawei WATCH FIT 5 Series, Huawei Band 11 Series, Huawei FreeClip 2, and Huawei FreeBuds Series.

To celebrate the grand opening, Huawei has announced special promotional offers from 17 June to 20 June. Customers purchasing the Huawei Mate X7 (16GB+512GB) will receive a discount of Tk14,999 or free Huawei Band 11 Pro and Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 ANC. Buyers of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro (16GB+512GB) will receive a Tk9,999 discount or a free Huawei Band 11 Pro.

Additionally, customers purchasing the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (8GB+128GB) will receive a free Huawei M-Pencil, while those pre-booking the Huawei nova 15 Max (8GB+256GB) will get a free Huawei FreeBuds SE 2.

Huawei is also offering selected AIoT products at promotional prices, including the Huawei Band 11 (Durable Polymer) for Tk4,499, Huawei Band 11 (Aluminum Alloy) for Tk5,849, Huawei FreeBuds SE 4 ANC for Tk4,499, and Huawei FreeClip 2 for Tk21,149.

The company expects the new display zone to provide Bangladeshi consumers with easier access to its latest devices and integrated ecosystem products under one roof.
