The band “About Dark” has released a new song titled “Nirakar”, which explores themes of freedom of speech, human rights, and individual liberty.
Through this track, the band voices its protest against the silencing of voices, the suppression of freedom of thought, and the loss of personal identity. The song is available on the band’s official YouTube channel.
According to the band, the lyrics of “Nirakar” highlight human vulnerability, a sense of lost existence, and a desperate yearning to reclaim one’s freedom and life.
The song depicts a reality where individuals--burdened by social pressures, imposed values, and the influence of power--lose the freedom to express their own thoughts and consciousness.
The tracks were produced, mixed, and mastered by Syed Arif Al Hoque at Studio Mars, with lyrics penned by guitarist Nasir Ullah.
The music band “About Dark” began its musical journey in 2016. Over the past decade, the band has released tracks such as “Kon Mohe”, “Tumi”, “Kalo Manush”, and “Line”.
The current lineup of the band includes Moon (vocals), Nasir Ullah and Arfan Ahmed Purno (guitars), Adnan Ahmed Firoz (bass), and Zakir (drums).
