Month-long Pitha Utshob begins at Unimart

Embracing the essence of Bengali’s winter traditions, annual Pitha Utshob at Unimart outlets has begun. The festival will continue throughout the month of January.

This year’s Pitha Utshob presents a curated selection of nearly 70 varieties of traditional pithas, reflecting the diversity of Bengal’s culinary heritage. 

Familiar favourites such as bhapa, chitoi, puli, patishapta, semai, and rosh pitha sit alongside lesser-known regional delicacies including nakshi, golap, malpoa, pakon, shatiinmochor, jafrani malai roll, and bibikhana. For those seeking a savoury touch, chaler ruti paired with hasher mangsho is also part of the offering.

The festival, which runs from January 1 to January 31, is open daily from 9:00am to 10:00pm at all Unimart outlets in Dhaka, with the same arrangements available at Unimart Sylhet.
