Tarique Rahman holds meeting with Erdogan on UNGA sidelines

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Tuesday.

The high-level meeting was held at the Turkish House at 821 United Nations Plaza.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to further strengthen the existing friendly and cordial relations between Bangladesh and Turkey, as well as various matters of mutual interest and different aspects of regional and international cooperation.

They also exchanged views on various possibilities for expanding existing areas of cooperation for the mutual interests of the countries and the welfare of their peoples.
