US envoy, Invest Bangladesh chief discuss wider market access
Talks focus on expanding opportunities for US companies under bilateral trade deal

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent T Christensen held a “productive discussion” with Invest Bangladesh Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun on expanding market access for US companies in Bangladesh.
The US ambassador disclosed the matter in a post on the US Embassy’s verified Facebook page on Tuesday (15 September).
“As an important part of our reciprocal trade agreement, I had a productive discussion with Invest Bangladesh Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun on expanding market access for US companies,” Christensen said.
The discussion focused on widening opportunities for US businesses to enter the Bangladeshi market as part of the two countries’ reciprocal trade agreement.
