Pakistan, Bangladesh discuss cooperation for women, children’s welfare

Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider called on Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, minister for women and children affairs, on Wednesday.

The Pakistan envoy briefed the minister about positive trajectory of bilateral relations. The discussions focussed on exploring avenues of cooperation in the field of women and children welfare, according to a statement released by the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka on Thursday.

Dr AZM Zahid Hossain underscored the significance of sharing best practices for mutual benefit. Both sides agreed to promote exchanges at various levels in this regard.
