French envoy greets Bangladeshis in Bangla on Pahela Baishakh

The French Ambassador to Bangladesh Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet has extended greetings to the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh, wishing them a happy Bengali New Year in Bangla.

In a message, the ambassador said, “Dear Bangladeshi friends, Happy New Year. Best wishes to everyone for the new year.”

He also conveyed his best wishes to the people of Bangladesh, marking the festive occasion.

“I am delighted to join you in celebrating Pahela Baishakh. It is a beautiful celebration of culture, renewal and hope. It reflects the rich traditions and vibrant spirit of Bangladesh. I am happy to see the colourful preparations at the University of Dhaka,” he said.

Regarding bilateral ties, he said that France deeply values its friendship with Bangladesh and looks forward to strengthening it.
