Takahashi Junko is new chief representative at JICA Bangladesh

Takahashi Junko has become the new Chief Representative of
the JICA Bangladesh Office, the organisation announced in a statement on
Wednesday.
“With a distinguished career spanning several decades at the
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Japan Bank for
International Cooperation (JBIC), Ms. Takahashi brings a wealth of expertise in
operations strategy, finance, and international development,” read the
statement published on the official facebook page of JICA Bangladesh.
Takahashi’s previous leadership roles include serving as
Senior Deputy Director General in the Operations Strategy Department and Senior
Representative at the JICA Vietnam Office. She also possesses extensive
regional experience from her time as a Representative in the JBIC New Delhi
Office, the JICA statement added.
“We look forward to her leadership as we continue to
strengthen the partnership between Japan and Bangladesh through impactful
development cooperation,” the statement further read.
