NBR transfers, posts 68 additional and joint tax commissioners

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has transferred and posted 68 officials holding the ranks of additional and joint tax commissioners, while also assigning some of them additional responsibilities.

The NBR issued a notification and an office order in this regard on Sunday.

Of them, 36 additional tax commissioners were transferred and posted through a notification.

Another 32 joint tax commissioners were transferred and posted through a separate office order, with additional responsibilities also assigned to them.

The notification and office order, signed by NBR First Secretary (Tax Administration) Wakil Ahmed, said the BCS (Tax) cadre officials had been transferred and posted to the workplaces mentioned against their names until further orders, with additional responsibilities assigned where applicable.

The orders also said that if any official is currently performing additional duties at the workplaces where the officials have been posted, those additional duties would be cancelled.

The transferred and posted officials were instructed to hand over charge of their previous posts and any additional responsibilities before joining their new workplaces.
