Café Amazon opens new outlet at Bashundhara City

Thailand's renowned coffee chain Café Amazon officially opened its new outlet at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall on Thursday with a colourful inauguration ceremony.

Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan, Managing Director of Tanvir Bashundhara Group (TBG), inaugurated the outlet in the afternoon.

Speaking at the event, he said the initiative would bring the internationally acclaimed coffee brand closer to Bangladeshi consumers.

"Café Amazon is not only about premium coffee, but also about offering customers a unique lifestyle experience," Ahmed Ibrahim Sobhan said.

Among others, Deputy Managing Director of Bashundhara City Developments Ltd Captain (retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza and Café Amazon International Senior Executive Vice President for Lifestyle Business Kraipit Premmani attended the event as special guests.

The guests formally declared the outlet open and expressed hope that the launch would further expand international coffee culture among consumers in Bangladesh.

The inauguration featured several attractions, including a coffee bean activation programme and a balloon drop that entertained visitors.

Internationally acclaimed Muay Thai performer Julkan staged a special performance, while a flash mob by the Eagle Dance Group, joined by actress Toya, added colour to the celebration.

The evening concluded with live performances by popular singers Habib Wahid and Xefer, drawing enthusiastic crowds.

Bashundhara City Shopping Mall said Café Amazon would offer customers an international-standard coffee experience through premium beverages, a distinctive ambience and quality customer service.

Earlier in the day, Café Amazon also inaugurated its flagship store in Bashundhara Residential Area.

Launched in Thailand in 2002, Café Amazon has grown into one of the world's fastest-expanding coffee chains, with thousands of outlets globally. The brand is widely recognised for its freshly brewed coffee and nature-inspired store design.
