The Dhaka College unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho carried out a day-long cleanliness drive on campus on Tuesday to eliminate Aedes mosquito breeding sites and raise awareness regarding dengue prevention.
Centred around the slogan "Keep yourself clean, keep
Dhaka College campus clean," members mobilised across corridors,
residential halls, pond embankments, playgrounds, and drainage networks from
morning to afternoon, clearing accumulated waste and stagnant water while
distributing preventive leaflets among students.
Organisers highlighted that the initiative goes beyond campus aesthetics to safeguard public health and encourage environmental stewardship.
