Basundhara Shuvosangho distributed educational supplies,
including notebooks, pens, geometry boxes, and others, among ten underprivileged
students at Rahmatpur Girls’ High School in Gaibandha town on Tuesday.
During the program, the students were also advised to study
regularly, follow health guidelines, maintain cleanliness, and raise social
awareness.
The organisers also introduced the students to various humanitarian
and social activities undertaken by Basundhara Shuvosangho.
The students expressed joy upon receiving the materials,
while their guardians appreciated the organisers’ initiative.
Samiul Basir, president of the Gaibandha Sadar Upazila
branch of Basundhara Shuvosangho, said, “Many students at the school come from
low-income families. Some of them cannot afford to buy notebooks and pens. We
want these students to receive the materials they need, become more focused on
their education, and build a better future for themselves.”
Those present at the program included Samiul Basir,
president of the Gaibandha Sadar Upazila branch of Basundhara Shuvosangho;
Ashidul Islam, general secretary; Sohag Islam, vice-president; and members
Atikur Rahman, Aminul Islam, Shakil Mia, Sokal Akter, and Pinky Barman.
