Speaker terms Hasina as ‘Best Actress’

Speaker of the Parliament Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has termed ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina as “Best Actress”, indicating that she used to condole family members of victims of enforced disappearances at Ganobhaban while harbouring violent mentality towards the victims inside her heart.   

The speaker made the remarks while speaking as chief guest at a views-exchange meeting at the Lalmohan upazila parishad auditorium in Bhola at 11am on Saturday.

Hafiz said, “Hasina used to assure the family members of disappeared persons that they will be returned while knowing where they were kept.”

“She was playing the role of the ‘Best Actress’ through such behaviour. People could not understand it at that time, but now everything has become clear,” Hafiz added.

“Sheikh Hasina herself had ordered the enforced disappearances,” Hafiz further said.

Senior BNP leaders were present at the event.
